YG-1 TC174 HSS-E (M35) UNC spiral flute machine taps are bright-finish tools designed for blind-hole steel threading. The special flute geometry promotes excellent chip evacuation, directing chips effectively from the cutting area in blind holes. These machine taps produce Unified Coarse UNC threads for steel applications. Three flutes provide the listed cutting configuration throughout the TC174 series. Available sizes cover #6-32 UNC through 3/4-10 UNC, covering commonly specified coarse thread sizes. Smaller sizes follow DIN 371, while larger sizes use DIN 376 dimensions. The range includes tapping-drill diameters from 2.85 mm to 16.5 mm. Select the matching SKU and tapping-drill diameter for the required thread size.
