YG-1 TTS31 is a TiN-coated HSS-PM metric spiral flute synchro tap for high-speed CNC machine threading. It is designed for high-speed tapping on rigid CNC machines or equivalent machine platforms. The 45° spiral flute supports chip evacuation for metric threading in blind-hole applications. TiN coating and powder metallurgy HSS provide the defining construction of this synchro tap. A synchro holder is recommended for high-speed operations to increase tool life and thread quality. The range covers M3 × 0.5 to M20 × 2.5 metric coarse thread sizes. DIN 371 applies from M3 to M10, with DIN 376 from M12 to M20.
