YG-1 TC729 is a bright HSS-E BSP pipe machine tap for blind-hole threading in steel. It produces 55° G BSP Whitworth pipe threads to DIN ISO 228/1. Special flute geometry supports chip evacuation where blind holes limit chip clearance. The DIN 5156 design provides a dedicated format for G BSP pipe-thread applications. This family includes G1/8, G1/4 and G3/8 sizes with 28 or 19 TPI. Specified tapping drill diameters range from 8.8 mm to 15.25 mm. Each listed tool uses three flutes for guided and stable machine tapping. The sizes have 90 mm or 100 mm overall lengths respectively. Choose the matching G BSP size and specified tapping drill diameter.
