YG-1 T2532 HSS-EX BSPT Tap is a bright-finish taper pipe tap for pressure-tight internal threaded joints. This JIS II tap cuts PT taper pipe threads for pipework requiring tight sealed connections. The T2532 series uses HSS-E construction and a straight-flute configuration. Available variants cover PT 1/8 through PT 2 inch, spanning 28, 19, 14, and 11 TPI thread pitches. Four flutes are specified from PT 1/8 to 3/4, increasing to six at PT 2. Suitable materials include carbon and structural steels, aluminium, bronze, copper and common cast iron. It supports blind and through drilling operations specified for this product family.
