YG-1 T7532 HSS BSPT taper pipe tap is a straight-flute tool for JIS II PT internal threads. It cuts taper pipe threads intended for pressure-tight joints in pipe-threading applications. This series provides PT sizes from 1/8 through 2, covering common internal taper pipe thread requirements. Thread pitches are 28, 19, 14, or 11 TPI, according to the selected PT size. Straight flutes form the listed geometry for this internal PT taper pipe thread tool. Choose the required PT thread size to suit the corresponding internal pipe-thread specification. The HSS construction provides the material designation specified for the complete T7532 range.
