YG-1 T1160 is an HSS-E M35 BSW long-shank spiral-flute machine tap with a 200 mm overall length. It creates Whitworth BSW internal threads for general-purpose tapping in blind holes requiring extra reach. Its 40-degree spiral flute assists chip evacuation during blind-hole threading. Steam oxide coating is specified alongside a 55-degree thread angle and Class II thread tolerance. W thread form and 2.5P chamfer lead support the specified BSW threading geometry. Available sizes extend from W3/8 to W1 for larger Whitworth thread applications. The long-shank configuration provides clearance where thread locations sit beyond the workpiece face. It is rated for aluminium, steels, stainless steels, cast iron, copper and bronze.
