Product Description

YG-1 TD222 is a TiN-coated HSS-E metric fine gun point machine tap for through-hole threading. It produces ISO metric fine internal threads in general-purpose machining applications using a 3.0×D design. Built to DIN 374, the series uses B thread form, 6H class and 60° angle. Supported material recommendations cover steels, stainless steel, grey cast iron, aluminium and copper alloys. The thick web supports use in through holes at higher cutting speeds than other taps. Available metric fine sizes span M4 × 0.5 to M22 × 1.5. Select from sixteen listed pitch options for common metric fine-thread machining requirements in reliable production environments.
