Product Description

YG-1 TD227 HSS-E (M35) metric gun point taps are TiN coated for general-purpose through-hole threading. Designed for through holes, their thick web supports higher cutting speeds than other taps. These machine taps produce ISO metric coarse threads from M3 × 0.5 to M30 × 3.5. Each listed size uses a three- or four-flute configuration matched to its tap diameter. TiN coating provides the defining surface treatment for this TD227 general-purpose tap series. Available tapping drill diameters are specified for each size to support appropriate hole preparation. Select the required metric thread size and pitch for machining applications requiring through-hole tapping.
