YG-1 TC864 is a bright HSS-E UNF spiral flute combo tap with patented special geometry. It produces Unified Fine Threads in blind holes for multi-purpose machining applications. R40 spiral flutes support chip evacuation when tapping blind holes to a maximum 2.5×D depth. Thread form is 60 degrees with a 2B thread class and DIN C chamfer. Bright TC864 variants cover #4-48 UNF through 1-12 UNF sizes. DIN 371 applies through 3/8, while DIN 374 covers 7/16 through 1 inch. Each tap has a square drive and three or four flutes according to size. The geometry is designed for correct thread profiles and extended tool life.
