The YG-1 TC824 is a bright UNC spiral flute combo tap engineered for multi-purpose threading. Its patented special tap geometry supports accurate thread profiles and extended tool life. Spiral flutes direct chips from blind holes, supporting machining applications up to 2.5 times diameter. HSS-E construction provides a practical option for steel, stainless steel, cast iron and non-ferrous materials. This series is available from #4–40 UNC to 1–8 UNC thread sizes. DIN 371 covers #4 through 3/8 sizes, while DIN 374 applies from 7/16 through 1-inch sizes. The bright finish provides an uncoated tool surface for general workshop threading operations. Its 60-degree thread form aligns with the stated UNC configuration.
