Patented special tap geometry supports correct thread profiles and long tool life in a single operation. The bright-finish DIN 374 series produces ISO metric fine threads with a 6H thread tolerance. Its spiral-point design is intended for through holes up to 3.0×D deep. Available sizes span M4 × 0.5 to M30 × 2.0, covering commonly specified metric fine threads. HSS-E construction supports work in steels, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium, copper alloys and non-metallic materials.
